Quad Isodamp

The Vibration Isolator for all remote heads including the big ones provides excellent isolation from Dynamic impulses, shocks, bumps and vibrations in a very compact and user-friendly design. This unit will take more load than the original using Eight Sorbothane dampening elements which can be adjusted via four knurled thumb nuts to provide absorption of unwanted angular and vertical movements in the roll and tilt axis but keep the pan axis stable allowing the maximum torque to be applied when needed. The Isolator can be mounted upright or suspended with no major rebuilds like other versions, also included is a direct mount plate system for the SRH-360 and we can make additional direct mount plates if supplied a bolt pattern to incorporate. The basic version uses the classic Mitchell Mount which makes a quick change from Dolly to Crane work and the Mitchell spigot is the standard Imperial thread not some close enough to cause confusion metric version. Many of the spring-based isolators only isolate, they do not dampen any motion.  Our isolator also uses a proprietary design, which allows vertical movement, angular movement in roll and tilt, but keeps pan solid, also included is a generic tie down washer for when you want to mount things like an o'conner head for dolly shots.
